The company celebrates its 20th birthday taking stock of its satisfactory business trajectory and constant evolution in all aspects: economic results, human team, values, expansion of business lines and establishment in the national and international market.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since Abel Moreno and Antxon Errea<\/strong> launched into entrepreneurship in 2004, the firm has gone from billing 20 million euros in 2022 and 2023, to a forecast of reaching 30 million in 2024<\/strong>. A figure that will be obtained thanks to the growth in scale of the projects undertaken this year and the new business lines: Gurpea Green Tech<\/a> and GTM Mexico.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

After the acquisition of two companies in 2015 and 2021, the opening of new branches in Catalonia and Mexico, and the establishment of work centers throughout northern Spain, it has expanded its activity and currently forms a company, unique in its dimensions, that combines the comprehensive service of automation engineering and industrial maintenance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under a new group structure (Gurpea Group), which supports with infrastructure and know-how the competitive strength of all its business lines in a growing market, Gurpea now has a new headquarters in Barbat\u00e1in, with which it adds 4,000m2 of production facilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A leadership position that, after twenty years of work, is endorsed by consolidation in reference clients in their sector such as Volkswagen<\/a>, Cinfa<\/a>, Schneider Electric<\/a>, General Mills<\/a>, SMP<\/a>, Mercedes<\/a>, Monbake<\/a> and Solidus<\/a><\/strong> among others, to which it provides service at an international level.<\/p>\n

Gurpea Group anticipates that, by nature, this growth will be accompanied by significant job creation, both in the engineering division and industrial maintenance, which will represent an evolution from the current 265 workers to 280.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Investment in technological innovation and human capital.<\/h2>\n

The anniversary comes with a commitment to investment in new technologies<\/strong> and a strong commitment to human capital<\/strong> as a differentiation strategy that allows improving efficiency and offering innovative services that meet the changing needs of the market, maintaining a solid and sustainable long-term advantage in a highly competitive environment.<\/p>\n

In this sense, Gurpea Group<\/a><\/strong> has already committed to the acquisition of reference software for project virtualization (Process Simulate<\/a>)<\/strong>, the implementation of an advanced sales and marketing management and automation<\/strong> tool, and the integration of an augmented reality<\/strong> solution as a complementary technology in its automation engineering projects.<\/p>\n

Regarding human capital, the company sees cohesion as<\/strong> an essential element in the face of the expected team growth, which it will foster with the incorporation of new internal platforms and initiatives that favor communication, motivation, information exchange, and therefore, operability and efficiency. Among them a podcast, a communication module in the intranet and interdepartmental work sessions as a channel to share knowledge and concerns.<\/p>\n
