Adaptation to electric models: cockpit manipulator.
Installation developed for the adaptation of the cockpit manipulator to the production of the new electric models.
DUAL-PURPOSE CLAWS
The new claw system is of a dual-purpose type, compatible with current combustion models and new electric models.
The dual functionality is achieved through the inclusion of four servomotors, one in the grapple and three in the cockpit gripper, allowing for width and height adjustment of the grip, entry, and exit points for four different body and dashboard models. This offers significantly greater flexibility and precision than a pneumatic cylinder.
AUTOMATIC BOLTING
The clamp includes an automatic bolting system to secure the cockpit to the body, a process previously done manually.
Safety: The automated cockpit handling means that no effort is required from any operator.
Productivity Improvement: Screwing becomes automatic, reducing time.
Quality Improvement: Position controls ensure the correct placement of the bumper at its entry into the body.
