With over two decades of experience, Gurpea Group has established itself as a driving force for industrial competitiveness in Navarre and a technological leader in automation and industrial maintenance. The group closed 2024 with a turnover of €35 million, 62% more than the previous year, and expects to exceed €40 million in 2025, thanks to the trust of major international clients and its capacity to handle large-scale projects.
“Over these 21 years, we have demonstrated that Navarre can lead industrial transformation. Today, we participate in highly complex international projects, providing engineering and maintenance solutions that place us among the technological leaders in Spain,” says Abel Moreno, managing partner of Gurpea Group.
Engineering and maintenance: capacity for large-scale projects
The engineering and industrial maintenance divisions have reached sufficient maturity to take the leap into executing large-scale international projects, up to €20 million. These two divisions form the core of the business group, driving its growth, supported by the other business lines: gas generation and technical talent acquisition.
The integration of engineering, assembly and maintenance services, with a level of reliability and technical complexity that few Spanish companies can match, consolidates Gurpea as a comprehensive strategic partner for demanding sectors such as automotive, food, electronics, aeronautics or the pharmaceutical industry.
This positioning, thanks to the successful execution of these major projects by its highly specialized team, has given Gurpea access to new major international contracts that will reinforce the group’s growth trend, both in Navarre, as well as nationally and globally.

Cutting-edge innovation ‘Made in Navarra’
In 2025, Gurpea is reinforcing its technological leadership with the development and registration of a pioneering patent for robotics applied to bushing insertion in assembly processes. This innovative technology emerged within the framework of an automation machinery project, addressing the limitations imposed by an existing patent. Far from hindering its progress, Gurpea has devised an alternative technology that not only circumvents the legal restriction but also improves the efficiency and optimization of the previous solution.
This process has resulted in the registration of its own patent. A milestone conceived and developed in Navarre, it demonstrates Gurpea’s ability to transform obstacles into distinctive technological innovation and consolidates its leadership in industrial robotics, sparking the interest of potential international clients.
Future projection: Talent and national expansion.
With over 300 professionals on staff – 95% with permanent contracts – Gurpea offers technicians and engineers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and grow in a stable environment.

Being part of Gurpea means belonging to the industrial elite. Our commitment is to guarantee professionals access to training in cutting-edge technologies and high-level projects, which are uncommon in other companies,” adds Antxon Errea, managing partner of Gurpea Group.
With its focus on acquiring and retaining top talent as a strategic key, the group continues to advance its expansion plan with a new production facility in Terrassa, the opening of a branch in Vitoria, and the exploration of acquisitions in Barcelona, Valencia, and Vizcaya to strengthen its presence in the national market, while already carrying out industrial automation projects in Mexico.
